1. Plot the data points on the Distance versus Velocity graph.
2. Find the “critical distance”, which is the point where the two lines intersect.
3. Plug the critical distance value into the Distance equation, along with the velocities V 1 and V 2.

1. Trace the antiform on Seismic Section #1 (Answer Sheet AS22) and plot the ideal drill hole location.
2. Trace the fault structures on Seismic Section #2 (Answer Sheet AS23), and determine the offset of the faults.  
3. Trace the folds and the unconformity in Seismic Section #3 (Answer Sheet AS24), and plot the ideal drill hole location.
